Welcome to Room 11's Web Page!!

We recently went on a field trip to Mystic Aquarium to learn more about penguins. Check out what we learned!!

Who doesn't love penguins? But do you really know what these lovable little creatures are like? You can find out, first hand, in Mystic Aquarium's Penguin Contact Program.

During this hour-long intimate program, you begin with a behind the scenes tour of their penguin exhibit. You get to see exactly what the penguin experts see, in order to give you a unique perspective on the special way that the penguins live.

Next, you go into a classroom in and you get to be face to face with a real penguin!!

One of the penguin specialists talks about what they need to do in order to take care of all the penguins. You also get to the opportunity to touch one of the penguins.

It was a great experience for everyone in the classroom!
